About me

A collaborative and thoughtful approach

I am an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor and clinical supervisor, bringing warmth, curiosity and openness to my work. For me, therapy offers a space where we can think together about what is happening in your life.

Sometimes it can be difficult to understand why we feel or respond in certain ways, particularly when we find ourselves repeating patterns that no longer seem helpful. I’m interested in helping you make sense of these experiences, including how the past may be influencing the present, and in exploring different ways of understanding yourself.

I see counselling as a collaborative process. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions and, at times, gently challenge you to look at things from another perspective. I hope to offer a relationship in which you can feel accepted as you are, while also having the space to consider what you might like to change.

Experience shapes how we see the world

Before becoming a therapist, I worked across finance, hospitality and journalism, and have lived and worked in Mexico City, São Paulo and New York as well as London.

Those experiences brought me into contact with people from a wide range of backgrounds and ways of life, giving me an appreciation of the many cultural, personal and professional worlds we inhabit. I try to bring that openness and curiosity into my work as a therapist, rather than making assumptions about how someone should think, feel or live.

Thinking about counselling?

If you are considering counselling, you are welcome to get in touch to arrange a free 10–15 minute introductory call. It’s an opportunity for us to talk briefly about what has brought you to counselling and for you to ask any questions you may have.

There is something valuable about having another person alongside you as you find your own way forward.
